This policy explains what personal information MilesBeyond Travels collects when you contact us or book a holiday, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what control you have over it. It applies to this website, to our WhatsApp and phone enquiries, and to bookings we make on your behalf.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need in order to plan and book your travel.

• Contact details you give us: name, phone number, WhatsApp number and email address.
• Travel details: destination, dates, number of travellers, budget range and preferences.
• Traveller documents where a booking requires them: passport details, date of birth and photographs for visa applications and airline bookings.
• Requirements you choose to tell us, such as dietary needs, mobility requirements or medical conditions relevant to your trip.
• Website usage data collected automatically through analytics and advertising tools, described below.

Why we collect it

We use your information to prepare itineraries and quotations, make bookings with airlines, hotels and transport providers, submit visa applications on your behalf, communicate with you before and during your trip, and meet legal and tax record-keeping obligations. We do not use your travel documents for any purpose beyond the booking they were provided for.

Sharing your information

To make a booking we must share relevant details with the service providers involved: airlines, hotels, transport operators, visa processing agencies and, where applicable, insurance providers. We share only what each provider requires.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our pages, and the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. These tools set cookies in your browser and may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type.

This information is used in aggregate to improve the website and our advertising. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on Google provides. Blocking cookies does not affect your ability to enquire or book with us.

How long we keep your information

Enquiry information that does not result in a booking is retained for up to twenty-four months, so that we can help if you come back to the same trip. Booking records, including invoices, are retained for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law. Passport and visa documents are deleted once the relevant application has been completed and the trip concluded, unless you ask us to retain them for a future booking.

Security

We restrict access to your information to the members of our team who need it to plan your trip. Documents are shared with service providers through their own secure channels wherever those exist. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to send sensitive documents only through the channels we request them on.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything that is inaccurate, delete information we no longer need, or stop sending you marketing messages. We act on such requests within a reasonable period and do not charge for them.

Children

We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Where a booking includes minors, their details are provided by a parent or guardian and are used solely for that booking.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change or when the law requires it. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here rather than notified individually.
