They are a starting point for a conversation, not a quotation. Send us your dates and we will come back with a firm price and a written breakdown of what is and is not included.
Singapore is small, which is its great advantage. You can see most of what you came for in four days without ever spending more than twenty-five minutes in transit, and the MRT makes getting around genuinely pleasant rather than something to survive.
For families taking a first trip abroad, it is close to the ideal destination. The city is spotlessly safe, Little India means familiar food is never far away, and the attractions are built for children in a way that actually works. Universal Studios, the S.E.A. Aquarium, the Night Safari and Gardens by the Bay will fill four days without anybody getting bored.
The one thing to know is that Singapore is expensive. Hotels in particular cost more than an equivalent room in Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur. We plan around that: the right neighbourhood so you are not paying for taxis, the attraction passes that genuinely save money, and honest advice on which of the paid attractions are worth it.
There is no single right month, only the right month for what you want. Here is how the year breaks down, and what each window means for weather, crowds and price.
| February to April | Driest stretch of the year and the most comfortable for walking. |
|---|---|
| May to July | Hot and humid but the Great Singapore Sale runs through June and July. |
| August to October | Occasional haze in some years; otherwise fine, with National Day celebrations in August. |
| November to January | Wettest months, with short heavy showers. Christmas on Orchard Road is genuinely spectacular. |
Universal Studios, S.E.A. Aquarium, the cable car and the beaches. A full day covers two of these comfortably; trying to do all four is a bad day out. We will tell you which combination suits your children's ages and whether the island pass is actually worth the money for your group.
The Cloud Forest and Flower Dome are worth the ticket, and the Supertree light show in the evening is free. Combine it with the Marina Bay Sands observation deck at dusk and you have one of the best evenings in Asia.
Three distinct quarters, each walkable in a couple of hours, each with excellent food. This is the half of Singapore that has character rather than polish, and most packages skip it entirely.
Singapore Zoo is very good; the Night Safari is better and quite unlike anything else. Book the earlier tram slot. For families with children under ten this is usually the highlight of the trip.
Hawker centres are where Singapore actually eats, and a good meal costs a fraction of a restaurant. Maxwell, Lau Pa Sat and Tekka are all excellent, with vegetarian and South Indian options at every one.
The indoor waterfall at the airport is worth an hour by itself. If your flight timing gives you a long layover, we build it into the plan rather than leaving you to sit at a gate.
A starting point, not a fixed plan. Every MilesBeyond itinerary is rebuilt around your dates, your group and the pace you actually want.
| Day 1 | Arrive, transfer, evening at Marina Bay and the Supertree light show. |
|---|---|
| Day 2 | Full day at Sentosa with Universal Studios. |
| Day 3 | Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown and Little India on foot. |
| Day 4 | Singapore Zoo or Night Safari, with a free morning. |
| Day 5 | Orchard Road shopping, then airport transfer. |
Singapore is our strongest recommendation for families with children between five and fifteen. It also works very well as a three-night add-on to a Malaysia or Bali trip. It is less compelling for travellers who want nature, quiet or a slower pace.
| Ideal duration | 3 to 5 nights |
|---|---|
| Visa | E-visa required for Indian passport holders; we handle the application |
| Currency | Singapore Dollar. Cards accepted almost everywhere |
| Flights from Coimbatore | One stop, usually via Chennai or Bengaluru; around five hours total flying |
| Time difference | 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of India |
| Best suited to | Families with children, first-time international travellers, short breaks |
Unless your quotation says otherwise, our packages include return flights, accommodation on twin sharing, airport and inter-city transfers, the sightseeing listed in your itinerary, daily breakfast, visa or permit assistance where applicable, and our planning and on-trip support.
They exclude personal expenses, meals not specified, optional excursions, tips, travel insurance and anything arising from delays outside our control. Every quotation lists inclusions and exclusions separately, so you know exactly what you are paying for before you pay anything.
You tell us your travel month, how many people are coming and roughly what you want to spend. We come back with a written itinerary showing the hotels by name, the transfers, and a clear price. If something does not suit you, we change it. There is no obligation, and we do not take a booking until you are happy with the plan on paper.
Once you travel, you have a real person on WhatsApp for the length of the trip. Flight delay, a hotel that is not as promised, a change of plan on day four: one message and we handle it from Coimbatore.
Tell us the month, the number of travellers and anything that matters to you. A planner replies with real options and a real price.
Our sample packages start from around ₹46,000 per person for four nights on twin sharing, including flights, hotel, transfers and the main attractions. The figure moves with your travel month and hotel choice, so we send a full breakdown once we have your dates.
Yes. Indian passport holders need a Singapore visa, applied for through an authorised agent before travel. We handle the application as part of your booking and tell you exactly which documents are needed.
Three nights covers the highlights. Four or five nights lets you add Sentosa properly and keep a free day, which most families want. Beyond five nights, we would suggest combining with Malaysia or Bali.
Exceptionally. Universal Studios, the aquarium, the zoo, the Night Safari and Gardens by the Bay are all genuinely well run, and getting between them is easy. Distances are short, which matters more with young children than anything else.
Hotels and alcohol are expensive by Asian standards. Food need not be, because hawker centres are excellent and cheap. Attraction tickets add up, so we advise on which passes actually save money for your specific itinerary.
Yes, and it is one of the best value combinations we plan. Kuala Lumpur is a short flight or a comfortable coach ride away, and a seven or eight night trip covering both costs far less than two separate holidays.
Tell us your dates and who is travelling. We will build the trip around you and stay available while you are away.
