How to choose, if you are not sure yet
Most people arrive at this page with a rough idea and a lot of open questions. Here is the short version of the advice we give on the phone.
If this is your first trip abroad and you are travelling with parents or young children, start with Dubai or Thailand. Short flights, easy visas, familiar food and enough variety that everyone finds something they like. If you want better value and do not mind a slightly longer journey, Bali stretches a family budget further than almost anywhere.
For a honeymoon, the real choice is between one place and several. Maldives is one island and complete rest. Bali or Vietnam give you variety and things to talk about afterwards. Both are correct; they just suit different couples.
Within India, Kerala is the easiest trip from Coimbatore because you can drive. Kashmir is the biggest change of scene. Goa is the most flexible for groups. Rajasthan gives you the most history per day, but asks the most walking in return.

Choosing a destination
Which destination should I pick for a first international trip?
Dubai or Thailand, in most cases. Both have short flights, straightforward visas, plenty of Indian food and enough to do that nobody in the group gets bored. Bali is a close third and better value for a family of four or more.
Do you plan destinations not listed on this page?
Yes. These are simply the ones we are asked about most. We regularly plan Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Andaman, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Meghalaya and Europe. If you have somewhere in mind, ask.
Can we combine two destinations in one trip?
Often, yes, and sometimes it is the smarter option. Thailand with Singapore, Bali with Singapore, or Kerala with Goa all work well. What matters is whether the flight routing makes it sensible, and we will be honest if it does not.
How do I decide between a domestic and an international holiday?
Budget is the obvious factor, but leave days matter just as much. If you have four or five days, a domestic trip almost always gives you more actual holiday. With seven days or more, international becomes worth the flying time.
